Great Summer Reads!

The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer

This is one of my favourite books of all time! Simply written and easy to read, yet loaded with solutions and ideas to stop limiting beliefs and negative emotions. The first chapter, “The Voice Inside Your Head,” will surely capture your attention! I think we can all relate to that “voice” that perhaps talks a little too much and can be a great source of worry, anxiety and frustration. And yes, there are ways to turn that voice into a more positive presence. You will definitely want to pick up this book from your local bookstore or library this summer to find out how!

Instructions for Happiness and Success by Susie Pearl

A corny title? Maybe, but this book has some amazing ideas and tools to help you manifest a life filled with abundance and joy. So often, we get caught up in day-to-day tasks and routines that we fail to think about what we truly want or where we are going. Why not take a break this summer and reflect on what it is you truly want out of life and use the journaling exercises and tools in this book to create a life filled with abundance, love and happiness. Healing Night: The Science and Spirit of Sleep, Dreaming, and Awakening by Rubin Naiman, PhD

If you suffer from insomnia, low energy and fatigue, you will want to read a copy of this book! I discovered this book while at a seminar presented by Dr Naiman and it has left a lasting impression on me. His ideas on how we have polluted our nights with excess light and activity and it’s impact on sleep quality are profound. In his book, he also discusses how symptoms related to depression and excessive daytime fatigue may simply be a call for more rest and to rediscover our dreams. This book is filled with solutions to remedy sleep disorders in a natural way!
